my car has a few problems...

First, when i go into 1st, when i take off sometimes the tranny pops it back to neutral and make a loud noise..this also happens when i go into reverse..i just replaced the Clutch with an ACT2100 w/street disc thought this would fix but it didnt, it made it a LITTLE better..i think its the throw out bearing? What can i do to fix it? Please help me out!

Second, my wheels pop when i turn..as i go faster, the faster they pop..this shit is really embarrasing. It does it when i turn both ways..i think they are my ball joints but im not sure. What can i do to fix it? Is that the problem? Please, any help is appreciated.

Lastly, im leaking oil from the valver cover, there's oil all over it. I thought it was the PCV valve that was bad but i changed it and still the same problem. I think it might be leaking through the oil cap..any idea why there's oil in my VC?

I'd appreciate any help...

Ok , 1. You didnt replace the TOB when you did the clutch ?
What procedure did you follow when doing the clutch job. I dont know much about clutch installs yet, but when someone who does reads this thread, Im sure you will want to give them all the info possible so they can help.

2. Poping is not good. Personally I would not move it from the spot it sits, until you check you suspension parts. Ball Joints are known to pop when they are bad and about to give out, So I would not drive the car. There's a write up I did in the tech article section under suspension on how to change ball joint boots. But, obviously that requires removing the ballj oint form the hub so follow my write up to check you ball joints. The rest of the pictures I could not load because the site gave me an invalid request page ? SO dont mind them missing, the write up is pretty detailed anyway.

3. Oil could be from the cap, is it more concentrated around there? Since you say it inside im guessing its not the gasket. These VC's do crack have you inspected it for that ? Let us know . GoodLuck

If it is popping out on it's own it is due to wear and tear on the gears teeth in the transmission, they are getting rounded off from previous beating, or some sort of harsh treatment, allowing it to slip out of gear. What does the noise sound like?

Does it do this on every turn? No matter how sharp it is. Sounds like axle problems to me.

Clean off the valve cover and replace the cap, see if it comes back. They do wear out after awhile:thumb:

I had my mechanic change my clutch, he was suppose to change the TOB, so am sure he did..i don't know how to describe the sound..its just loud and embarrasing.

they just pop when turn, dosent matter how sharp as long i turn they pop, sometimes it dosent do it tho, but very rare.

I will look into the VC

The poping does actually sound like CV joints like stated above. also, I would take it back to you mechanic and tell him to look at it again.

CV joints? u mean ball joints? Take it back to mechanic make him check the TOB?

yea the car made popping sounds before the clutch swap..so is it for sure that my problem is the throw out bearing thats causing my gear to pop back and grind? or do i need to rebuild my tranny?
