I like the dual cup holder idea, as i have my son and wife with me at times. Would like it go more straight then curved on the top near the arm rest

.The holes are just over 2.25" deep. The 3" top, the taper, and the depth, was all taken from the dimensions of Tesla cup holders (I changed a few things like making the depth slightly less).I'm liking how it looks. I wonder, though, roughly how deep are the holes, from bottom to top of the holder? I'm just trying to think how a regular 5" tall coke can would sit in there. I've had bad experiences with other, deeper holders where you can barely grab the can. A comfortable "grab-range" for a coke can is about 1" from the top going down, just enough to get your thumb and index or middle finger on each side and pull it up. I'm just giving one of many examples, though. I'm sure lots of people would prefer bottles or those big XL sized coke cups from McDonalds,.
I can design and print this off tonight to test tomorrow if I'm feeling inclined, I'm printing the switch panel for my own car at the moment. I'm not sure how happy I am with the 2x cup holder. I'm mostly worried about the two drinks, if they both fill the holes, pushing each other away from each other due to the holes overlapping; however, to make the holes a good size, this is a necessity. Only thing I'm worried about a 1x cup holder and little side compartment is that there isn't a big NEED for it, as our OEM ones are pretty much just like that. Obviously it would be slightly better but worth $$$ better? Also, did you try a variant with a cup holder and a side compartment like the OEM one is?
if you consider doing it I would definitely be interested.Do you have the stl format so i can print it, or do you sell the piece, Im interestedI'm suited into my new area and I'm finally getting back to trying to create 3D printed parts for our cars. I've been working on a drop-in replacement for the cup holder in the center console. Personally I never use the cupholder so I wanted to make a touch-button switch panel. Noticing that people like having cup holders and hate the little change holder thing, I'm also considering making a drop-in replacement that has 2 cup holders.
No pricing or anything at all yet, just want to get feedback on if there would be any interest in one of these replacements. Any ideas on what else the replacement could be? Any comments about fitment? Let me know what I could improve.
The part is still a prototype so there is a big hole cut in the middle to save on material printing out different iterations.
Hey, I've had some messages over the years about this. Sorry guys, I can't share any design files. Reach out and I'll see if I can make something for what you're looking for.Do you have the stl format so i can print it, or do you sell the piece, Im interested
Looks great!! I'm trying to finish a design myself. If anyone starts 3d printing the door window support plastic deals I'd buy. Every one is broken on all my cars. It seems to be a common problem.

Just found these in my boxes when moving some old stock aroundI literally just bought that one and for 12 shipped isn't bad. The other guy selling them on ebay has 3 left but for 25 shipped, they know what they can get for them. I only need 7 more now.
By the way thanks for searching that up I'm being extra lazy today.
set of 2 or 4? shoot me a pm to not jack this threadHow much for them if you'd be willing to sell? The guy on ebay canceled my order so now I need a set unfortunately.
I actually just got my PiLink from John, and am using the 7" screen he offers, but I'm really interested in the 8" screen you have here. Can you give me any more details on this??Why not just use an 8" screen? It doesn't require any fascia trim...
