Pshh, All you college kids need to get an alcohol funding job. Seriously...

Here is what is in my fridge at this moment:
Bass
Guiness
Harp
Sleemans honey brown
Leinenkugels both the red and the dopplebock
and a dirty 30 of busch light.

Actually one of the best beers I've ever had was an Oatmeal Stout.. but I can't remember the name of the brewery. something very low key. I also enjoy Hacker Pschorr as long as its a liter at a time.

If i'm drinking a lot of beer i'll switch to coors light after about 4 good beers.

As far as you canadians... Alexander Keiths is a really good india pale ale, but as far as molson/labatt goes... blah, it's the same as bud/MGD. They really are not anything special.

And for all you keystone drinkers... keystone Ice is WAYYYY better than keystone light.

If I running low on cash, give me some koolaid or purple frost gatorade and a pint of everclear and I'll be buzzing hard for the night:D

Since I'm in college, its keystone all the way

You guys still drink that crap? Jagger went out of style around here just like the muscle car. Two years ago it was jagger, then about a year ago it was Crown/hypnotic, and now its Tattoo....but i dont drink that much...im to into my sexy body:cool:

If you want a real Canadian beer, go with Moosehead. It's by far the best tasting beer I've ever tasted and I've had many blends and brews. The MOOOOOOSE

I'm pissed. I've looked all over and I can't find Hoegaarden anywhere. I've been looking for it since I turned 21 because I heard it was really good and its supposed to be better than Blue Moon :thumb: . Where do you get Hoegaarden? I know Cost Plus World Market has lots of different types of beer, and they stock new brands occasionally, but I can't think of any other place to find different beers.

you could try to ask a beer place if they can special order it for you.when i was working at the liqour store we would special order stuff for everyone. it also depends on if the beer distributers will carry it or not. theres alot of beers that we cannt get in NJ. i dont know if you have a place called firewaters by you but here its a chain type bar but they carry 50 different beers on tap and 90 other micro brew beers. awesome place.

Moosehead right here. But after seeing this thread, there's a few more I'll be trying this week. Blue Moon seems to be a popular choice..

THAT'S RIGHT!!!! I dont know why all of you college students are drinkin keystone light. Keystone ice costs the same and serves your purpose far better. It's like the only beer I drink, I dont really enjoy beer alot but its the one i was introduced to so I can drink it. I'm more of a liqour fan. Liquor of choice right now....Sailor Jerry. Its Rum but its 92 proof and I think it tastes better than Captain Morgans. Plus, its named after a cool tattoo artist so you get a sweet tattoo on the back of the label..haha

I know I am resurrecting an old thread, but I was enjoying a frosty mug and was checking out some of the archives. Plus, with a fresh 4 inches of snow outside and no motivation to fire up the heater in the garage, there isn't much else to do in Western PA but drink.

My Top 5: (so far)

Guinness
Harp
Samual Adams (any)
Heineken
Corona (summer time)

Best cheap/garage beers:

Knights Head, All varieties (brewed in Wilkes Barre PA) $8.99/24 bottles
Jacob Best Light (brewed by Pabst I believe) $7.00/24 cans
Old Milwaukee Light $14.00/30 cans

And the beer of the evening:

Buffalo Bill's Brewery Blueberry Oatmeal Stout

**With a kid on the way, the premium beers get fewer and far(er) between** :sosad:

rolling rock FTW

RR used to be the top of my list. Every party and every daily. Then the great buyout, and honestly, i don't know if it was the closing of the brewery that put the sour taste in my mouth (i'm a Pittsburgh guy) or if they changed the beer. I bought a case, drank two and gave the case to my brother. Just wasn't the same.
