Fast And The Furious 2. 2 Fast 2 Furious. An Eagle Talon?

I heard from a friend that there is suppose to be an Eagle Talon in the movie is this true?

Did anyone notice that the movie was basically a 90 min mitsu/dodge commercial mixed with an episode of Fastlane.

Ive seen a WS6 with nitro purge coming out of the sides of the ram air hood. How is that done anyway?
I liked the Skyline though.
If they ever make another racing movie, it should just be on street racing period, not stupid cliche cop/undercover drug plots. Part of what made Initial D so popluar in Japan, was the fact that it was mainly young people with stock cars that most people could afford and the emphasis was on driving skill, not how cool the car looked. Legend of Speed also focused on driving onyl as well, as so did Jackie Chan's Thunderbolt. Hollywood seems to always want to overhype and glammer things and make it unrealistic thinking that will bring more respect.

i have a story ppl here should appreciate. i smoked my clutch almost all the way, i had a new clutch and flywheel in my garage but hadnt got to putting it on yet. anyone who has pulled a awd tranny knows how much fun it is...anyway i was driving on the downtown strip where everyone takes their cars out. well i went side by side through a few lights next to this little spanish prick in his 80s civic, equipped with fart can, 2 doughnuts on the front, and formula1 wing, real joke of a car. i didnt want to race(#1 clutch almost fryed...cant lose to civic! #2 im on liscence suspension, must keep BS on road to minimum) so i finally race this guy and blew him away....and what do you know my clutch frys completely the next day. I mean my car isnt THAT fast but i killed him with almost no clutch left...

why ppl bother with those cars i have no idea, they look geo metro's slightly bigger brother....i just dont understand some ppl

What i liked was when paul walker we going back words on the freeway what i want to know is how the hell was he going so fast with out slowing down did he have like 3 reverse gears.

Initial D was a good anime, I must admit. One of my favorites (also has a great Euro Beat soundtrack.) It also features some nice (for us import, for them domestic) cars like the Nissan Skyline GT-R, Silvia 13 and even a Toyota Trueno! (Corolla GT in the states.) The 2nd stage has Lancer Evolutions (III and V if I remember right) in it . Over Rev is a good manga based off of street racing and a chick getting into it because she loves the thrill of drifting, etc.

My thoughts on 2 Fast 2 Furious ... ehh it was okay. A nice action film, I guess. They shoulda picked a hotter asian chick to play Suki though . The Skyline was probably the best part of the entire movie.

One part I didn't understand was how the Lancer Evolution was beating the Spyder when they were racing to the stockyard. The Evos aren't that fast top-end compared to the FWD Spyder. Also, I was glad they labeled the buttons as "N2O" instead of "NOS" in this movie. I guess NOS didn't pay them enough to feature advertisements on the steering wheel . I also wondered how the lanevo managed to go in reverse that fast (they were crusing at a decent speed before he did that.) I've never seen a car go THAT fast in reverse before .

The worst part had to be destroying all those nice cars. I saw a little feature on tv about the movie, they had 4 identically painted cars so they could wreck one and have another to use. Poor cars .

Oh well, it's just an action film with hot cars that we wish we could own too.

Yeh.. i do think suki could have been hotter.. the fact that she had a s2000 made her hot enough though.. i'd do her.. i thought the steering wheel in the spyder was bad ass too, i was impressed they actually had nice interiors.

Don't forget, the cars are supposedly modified to be fast (We're not sure which mods were used, so we can't tell if the movie's evo should have been faster than the movie's spyder) If you modified a spyder and an evo to their top potential, which do you think would be faster? The evo already has a 4.5 second stock 0-60mph time. Lanevos are also AWD, therefore they fall under the same category as the AWD DSMs (power to all wheels instead of power to only 2.) Lancer Evolutions are popular for Rally. You don't hear them being used on racing tracks as winning cars. But their handling is great for rally.
