I'm game for meeting at the streets. Let me know a time and place. I saw a picture of the Ralliart Eclipse concept in SCC and fell in love. I just want to see, you know, the eclipse they should be producing....
 
Oh yea!!! the Stealth is back and running:D I might be leaving friday night to visit some friends at ISU...if i don't, I'll be at schaumburg / streets meeting up with whoever shows

Hey everyone,

The Factory MOD event is almost here. Its this Saturday, Sept. 9th, and goes from 10am to 3pm at the Mitsu plant in Normal, IL. The confirmed vendors that will be there include:

- AMS
- Buschur Racing
- Works
- Cusco

And some of the concept cars that will be on display include:

- Raider Street concept
- Eclipse Ralliart Concept
- Endeavor Ralliart concept
- Boeing Eclipse Spyder
- Mitsubishi “i”
- Mitsubishi Colt
- 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander

The plant tours, great prizes, and all the food is a good reason to go to. Its a really fun time. Hope to see you out there.

I live in Joliet, and it would make more sence for me to take 55, but if a lot of you guys are driving down I-39, where are the Streets and how do I get there from Joliet.
 
if anyone wants to meet up in Dekalb for the meet on saturday let me know or show up at the Starbucks on lincoln hwy and annie glidden by 8:00 a.m. ill be there in the spyder!

You don't really want to backtrack all the way to Schaumburg to the Streets of Woodfield just to drive all the way back south. I know there are lots of people in Plainfield/Joliet, some might be going that you can start with or set a place to meet with the pack coming from Schaumburg.

I hope to go but I'll be making the I-39 run if the car is up to it. I didn't get a chance to do some of the work I was planning before the trip.

Luckly I don't have to drive but 5 mins. to get to the plant. How would everyone feel about a cruise after the event and hitting up a restarant? If anyone has any ideas let me know and I can make all of the arangements.

If anyone were to break they are more then welcome to store it @ my house or shop untill they can make further arrangements to tow the car.

If I get the time I'm hoping to have my drag car back together to drive out there and maybe cruise. So hopefully we can maybe put somthing together!!
 
We are having a pre M.O.D. Day BBQ in the AMS parking lot here in about 4 hours. Free food all Mitsu's are welcome

SUCK!!!!!!!! I didn't see this until today! I'm soooooo friggen mad at myself right now cause I live like 40 mins away from Normal! I'll be checking these forums a lot more often now so that I don't miss another event!

Let me know when there is another around here.
 
Yeah you didn't get told by a prominat DSM buissnes owner that you wern't fast enough and didn't have enough money to do what you were asking about. With out his knowing anything about your car or you income. Hmmm, never sending anything to that shop.

But all and all a good event.

On the other hand getting a brand new free bra for my car to replace the old faded torn one was pretty cool.

I'm with you, I just saw this thread. This is the 2nd year straight I just missed this event. I missed this and the shootout, I'm slacking this year.
 
That Cusco Evo 9 had the comfiest seats I have ever sat in.

The weather for the event was really nice, but the raffle didn't go my way (no bike) and the tour wasn't as cool as I thought it'd be. The trip to Normal was pretty interesting though--someone in our caravan lost a front wheel, managed to not die (most importantly) or completely fubar the vehicle, found the wheel, put it back on, and proceeded to continue on to MOD. After getting more lugnuts.

Anyone got pics??

I went to the AMS pre-party, got stared at by 30 evo's and left to Streets...My version of MOD...

Anyone else got any stories or pics....
 
It was pretty sweet, it was my first Mit. Event ever so far. The cars were sick some stuff I haven't seen before. Steve I like the 2g Line Up shot I wish I wasnt in the back row of the 2gs otherwise my car would of been in that pick. I was behind that blue one with little mirrors. I got pics. there justt on my cell I will try to load them up and let you guys seem them, I got a couple of vids to on the ride back cruisin with 3 evo's it was pretty tight.
 
the meet was nice...just wish they had more vendors(selling parts, etc...) or maybe a swap-meet?... alot of nice dsms, saw some guys in knew(eric) and meet couple other guys(steve and terry). Terry, i heard you have a 2G talon for sale?....let me know.

i didnt win anything from the raffle! but,! i did scam the 2G banner(the grey one) on my way out of the parking lot(its in my home office right now)!

maybe they'll put on MOD '07 and have more stuff going on!

cant wait for the next DSM meet around here(North/South '07)?
 
One of my dirt track customers works in the office at MMMA. I'll say somthing to him about a swap meet as well. I think that is a great idea.
 
wish i made it out to this...had all the intentions of doin so....i visited a girl friend at college the night before and ended up staying all of Saturday and night too:thumb: good times...:rocks:
