Does anybody know if there is a factory amplifier in a 97 eclipse???? I have installed an aftermarket stereo with new speakers and the sound is not right. Somebody told me that the speaker wires may go thru a factory amp. Does anybody knows anything about this???

Check under your passenger seat. That's where mine was, but yours may be different since it's a Spyder.
