I want to put an aftermarket apm in my car and leave the stock one too is it possible to wire it all together or do i need a whole new kit. and can i hook it up to the factory radio and 6 disk changer.

are you planning on swaping speakers? your factory ones probably wont be able to handle a lot more power...

Im def. going to uprade the door speakers and the rear 6x9's but not sure abouthte front dash ones yet.

well your probably going to want to just bypass the factory amp. go to any car audio shop and pick of a daewoo wiring harness and it plug directly into the amp. then you'll have to just attach those speaker leads to the 4 channel amp or whatever your going to run. its a little easier that way since sometime the factory amps go back and because of the frequency restiction of the factory amp. Personally i have my dash speakers cut because they lasted all of 4 hours after i hooked them up. if you need wiring colors or anything else, let me know

Yeah thanks for the info i gonna go ahead and do that that sounds pretty easy but im going to leave the dash ones and if they go like your ill prob upgrade to better ones.

The dash ones are actually tweeters! Get you a nice pair of componets(mtx or something) and replace the the factory doors and tweeters at the same time!

from my experience, you should be careful with replacing the tweets because they aren't normal 1 inch tweets like the ones that come in component sets. off the top of my head, i believe they are like 1.5"...good luck and pm me for any other installation or car audio question

I do believe on some cars if you disconnect the factory amp the Tweeters stop working.. They work on mine (96 talon) but I think some years are wired a lil differently.. I'm almost positive that on most 2b Eclipses they stop working :)

Mine is located under the passenger front seat. I think your car has to have the upgraded 8 way stereo system to have it i think i was an option.
