Factory Alarm Re-program(problems)

Hello, yes i am posting a new thread, but ive been looking and asking about my problem and it seems that not many people have gotten this issue.

Ok so i bought a remote control. i have the factory alarm system how do i know, well i did 3 things, first tried the quick test my self: lower window, lock door with key, wait until SECURITY light turns off and 10secs afetr it was off, open the door from the inside, alarm went off. second, took the left rear speaker panel off and there is the black box for the alarm system, third, called dealer they verified the remot ei got with its part number and my VIN.

so here i come to reprogram this remote with my car and is just not working at all, let me give you my steps i took, first put key in ignition kept it in OFF position, now here is where it gets annoying, 1 im confuse with which is PIN #1 on the data link connector, looking at it upside down all 4 corners have a metal pin so any of the 4 can be pin #1 now which is it? pictures anyone? i would appreciate it, and also i can of course grounded to the body right? im not comfortable on grounding back to ECU..

so when i put it on the pin i think it is, ground it, then i close the door, and turn key to ACC and back to OFF and nothing happens. and this is where i am stock.. for 3 days trying this .. please let me know if you have any ideas on what is goign on.. Thank You.. WTF

it should be a yellow wire ne the long side of the connector jump 1 to 4

yellow wire coming out of the back of the connector off pin #1?

ok cool i will try that later on today when i get a bit of free time..

alright so i went and tried this again, and failed again, now im thinking i might have blown a fuse or somethign that the connector is fused to? or there is no fuse for the Data Link Connector? im searchign and searching. something is obviously wrong... the lock/unlock swith work, with key both doors lock/unlock, and with pressing the switch both doors lock, the anti theft-fuse is not blown, and also the alarm does work because like i mention original post, i did the test with security light waiting 30 seconds open door from inside yes the alarm went off, and it stills goes off now.. but i just cant get into reprograming mode. meaning that when i ground pin one and turn key from off to acc and back off nothign happens..

i gotta figure something out here..

The dlc fuse is the cigar lighter fuse check that one. Also when trying to get it into programming mode you have to turn the key on off 3 times within 10 sec of jumping the connector also make sure all doors are closed when doing it sometimes it doesnt want to go into programming mode when the doors are open

it is? i did not knwo the cigar-lighter fuse ran on same one but ok, i will try that in a bit, also i didnt know it was 3 times within 10 seconds i had to turn from off to acc and back 3 times, so i should end on the off position or on the acc position onb the third time? or i guess ill just see the door lock/unlock when it goe son programing mode..

alright so i went and it again, and nothing same thign the car is not goint into programing mode, for some reason.. i checked fuses all work, i checked to see if any wires from ignition cylinder were off or anything i just cant simply think what else can be wrong..
