Im gonna get the stage III keydiver chip and then get the FIC 750's and an AFPR. All i hear about these chips is good things. Do you guys think that using only a chip and AFPR to control those 750's is gonna be enough or is it too risky. Should i get an AFC to go with it? I want to run around 20 psi with my evo 3 B16g.

That is the same thing im gonna do except on 680cc injectors. Andy Moraitas (sp?) runs that same setup i beleive and has no problems with it.

There are people with Keydiver chips tuning with an AFC and logger and having great success.

I would also check the link below. It is a thread where Andy posts about tuning without an AFC, but with boost, fuel pressure, and octane. It's a good read.

I will be trying to tune Andy's way in the next few weeks. It would be great to see your results and use any info or tricks you come up with.

Good luck!

Id use an AFC. The chip will give you an awesome basis to start on...as if your mods were what came on the car stock. There is more room for tuning though. Not an absolute necessity but you would see gains from further tuning with an AFC.

I run with only the keydiver and it has custon fuel maps and timing maps. I think that is all you need safc are waste of money in my opinion. Its set for a certain afr and timing advance and works aewsome. If your gonna just buy a keydiver and a safc you might as well take that money and buy DSMLINK. The cost would be about that with a chip and safc.

Word. I guess it all depends on what stage chip you have too. Im not positive but i think options liek that are only available on the stage 3.....But with the money for both, regardless of what stage you would be better off with just going DSM link.
