external wga ?

i am new to the dsm scene i came from an srt4. i was just wondering if i was to run an external wga where do i put the dump tube and where can i get one or do i need to get one made?

Usually the external wastegate is run off the number 1 runner on the exhaust manifold, or off the o2 housing, or if you have a fp3052 off the exhaust side of the turbo. The dump tube from there (depends what kind you get) will dump downwards to a pretty large opening between the lower engine mount and the alternator. If you have a front mount intercooler, in most cases (AGP, SBR, Dejon tool) one of the pipes will occupy this space to reach the turbo. The best thing to do is buy a dump tube that is angled so the hot gases can clear the intercooler pipe. What Im mainly referring to is the fp3052 with an external tial 44mm wastegate. My dump tube angles about 45 degrees and goes under my turbo. The gases are then emitted between my intercooler pipe and the bottom of my engine. So, my point is depending on what turbo or where you mount the wastegate, you should be fine with dumping downward. ok thanx man i am probally geting the turbonetics t3/t4 exhaust manifold that mounts the wga on the right side of it.
