External Turbo Dump

ok i found this 02 dump housing and i want to know if anyone is using a 02 housing like this and if so please till me what you think of it, i think if i get this one i will take out the flex pipe and make it all hard pipe...please give me some input...

I believe carbide is using a modified version of this on his Holset. I aslo think he mentioned that the flange hole is not a full 3". Looks good quality though.

The flex is in place to allow the housing to mount to various external wastegates.

Why would you want to eliminate the flex?

i see one were there isn't a flex pipe and i haven't seen one that has one, and the only ones i have seen is on ebay and i wasn't sure if it was a good idea to keep it...

I have used this exact pipe on a 20g setup with the ebay 46mm gate and it was perfect. Never cracked and fit good but the V-band flange is not standard so i cut it off and used a new set. It had 2 O2 bungs so that is a plus too. They make a new version with 38mm flanges i would go with that one now.

I have this exact one setup for a 38mm gate with my H1E. Works fine so far. Fitment is great and it's a true 3" o2 housing for a good price. The v-band is a standard 3" (at least on mine it is).
