Express Card to 9 Pin Serial Adapter

I want to run a datalogger on my new Dell laptop that only has the newer Express Card setup. Don't tell me my other options, this is what I want to do. My question is, will an express card to 9 pin serial adapter allow the datalogger to work? Also, does datalogger programs designed for earlier Windows work on XP?

Instead of starting a new thread, I figured I would bump this one becasue it never got answered.


I was looking on ebay for the same thing (ExpressCard Serial) . The express slot is on all vista laptops now. I was wondering if I used this, could I use this with a plam emulator on my vista laptop.

If anyone has any thoughts on this please let me know. Thank you.
