expected hp???

so ive got a bit planned for my dsm and wondering what kind of numbers could be made witht he following

2.3 stroker
FP 3x cams
+1 mm valves
dsm link
stock intercooler setup ( MAYBE a decent short route fmic)
stock 14b, 12 psi if i can hold up to the 2.3 (MAYBE a 16g if i can find one cheap enough)
3 inch exhaust with downpipe
ac delet
hacked maf
850 cc injectors, 255 fuel pump, afpr



this is a talon tsi so its awd

i also know ill be leaving alot at the table because of the turbo, manifold, and intercooler stock

just curius as im hoping for at least 250 to the wheels if not 300

That 14b will fall flat on its face. Even a 16g will be out flowed by the engine. You need at least a 20g / 50 trim variant on a stroker.

I'd say save up for another month or 2 and get what you want. You already 850's and link.

How do you figure. I am running a T25 on a 2.3 with 288's. Performs just fine for break in. Still great spool and actually a little topend. Car is very driveable until I can get my hands on an HTA35R

Why are you planning on using the 14b turbo? Or even a 16g? With a stroker set up like would think you would want a turbo to match with some power. My t25 fell flat on it's face with my stock setup at like anything over 5k rpm's.
I know the T25 is weaker of a turbo but still.

well being a college student i can only do so much at any given time, ive spent most my time getting the thing ready to run a nice fat gt 35r

but at best thats mid to late summer so the 14b will probably be on the car untill then

Why do you want to know? If your planning on 35r, why does it matter what you have on a 14b? You can probably get 300 out of it if you really wanted to, i was seeing close to 30 lb/min on my 14b with stock cams and intake manifold.

This question can't be answered, it is basic bench racing. Every car is different and all the power is within the tune.

Oh alright, well still will be fun with the 14b, but obviously with a stroker the turbo will be way out of it's range up top. I would think with a good tune maybe close to 300 hp. Maybe not quite that since your awd and don't carry as much of the power to your wheels. 250 should be easy especially if you turn the boost up a little bit more on that 14b turbo since you have the fuel and tuning capabilities.

i wanted to know how it would hold up agains my 94 mustang cobra is why im asking

i dont think i would call it bench racing as much and a rough guess to what kind of power its gonna make

Making a rough GUESS regarding horsepower numbers IS bench racing.

Add to that you want to see how it would stack up to another car? Bench racing the bench race.
