ok. i have a bastard 20G that im going to use with a ported 6cm turbine housing, i know that i'll get more top end and hp with a 7cm!! i know!! but im going to use a 6cm! i would like some input on what you guys think of it or how much HP gains to expect.. my eclipse is an automatic daily driver and i think that with that 6cm turbine housing it would be a fun to drive it because the spool up would be faster.
im currently overseas and i have been buying lots of parts for my car. Next month i should be back home so i'll be posting on here the progress of my little project. here is a list of what i got so far for the car..

current mods:
Downpipe
Catback
16g Turbo
Hks BOV
Evo injectors
Walbro fuel pump
SX FPR
Reflashed ECU
Water/Meth Injection
Wideband O2

Parts ordered:
1G Throttle Body
HKS 264, 272
BC Valve Springs
Bastard 20g with 6cm turbine housing
Front Mount Intercooler
Thermal Intake Manifold Gasket

Let me know what you guys think.... thank you

I'm running a ported 8cm housing with my 18g and auto-x it, I would NOT suggest running a 6cm housing with a 20g. If your looking for better spool go to a 16g and run a 6cm housing, quite a good little setup if I must say so, and you'll probably feel more from that than a 20g depending if you plan on doing autox or anything like that.

i currently have a 16g on the car, but i want to try something different with the 20g and the 6cm housing, i can always swap to the 7cm turbine housing, but i want to see what i can get out of that setup, because i think its funny how for example most of the 14b records have been done with the 6cm turbine housing, and not with a 7cm i know its a totally different turbo than a 20G, but i'm looking for the right combination for my car.

The 14b records are with <350whp cars that weigh <2500lbs.

my goal is trying to get 350hp out of that setup at the same time having a quick spool up.. i think i have all the supporting mods to make it happen, we'll see what happens once i start working on the car again.

i know that and I'm not arguing about the records have been made o light weight cars etc. etc. its just that it seems that everyone here has a bad opinion about the 6cm turbine housing but yet the fastest 14b car kept the 6cm and not swapped it to a 7cm..
just want feed back on what you guys think on how much i can squeeze out of that setup.

thank you!!
just trying something different...

Different is not always better or ideal setup. I think there is a reason why people do not try and run a 20g on a 6cm housing. Honestly you cant expect much gains over a 16g
