Exhaust?

Any cheap ways to make the exhaust sound good? I was just gonna hollow out the cat but don't know how great it would sound, I don't want very raspy or loud, I want something somewhat quiet and deep so you can still hear my BOV. I know how you guys feel about the BOV but this one is greddy and sounds really good.. I couldn't pass it up.

Don't hollow out the cat; your going to throw CEL's and cause more problems.

Use one of the venders on this site or the classifieds to buy a proper exhaust. They can be found CHEAP if used and of good quality.

Which BOV are you using and I hope your not venting to ATM.

3 inch exhaust with a 4 inch muffler and ditch the cat after emissions it will sound nice.

Not venting it, I did one day and it ran like shit. I'll look up parts right now, I'm kind of on a tight budget but I somehow always find ways to build my cars for cheap. A buddy just gave me a free catch can and they have slim hid's on ebay for 30 dollars, just ordered them I would suggest others check them out as well.

yea dont hollow out the cat...bad idea. you can find a ton of used parts online for cheap just shop around

do NOT hollow out the cat...

go on ebay, for 100-150$ shipped you can get a knockoff Apex-i 3" exhaust that fits perfect and sounds amazing... if you MUST economize, this is the best way to go... there are very cheap 3" downpipes on there as well! Happy new year all! Pm me with any questions, i love to help!

I appreciate the help, I was looking at the knockoff apexi's right now and they do sound good. The hollowed cat is too raspy.. thank you youtube. Thatnks guys I'll just wait till my next check.
