Exhaust system question

Ok so I'm looking to finally get my exhaust and I don't quite know what to get. Any feedback would be great. I currently have the stock 14b and I plan on getting either a small 16g or a big 16g sometime in the future. I'm looking to get about 300-350 hp and I've been searching and the consesus seems to be that a full 3" exhaust seems to be the way to go. But then I found that a 2.5" DP would be better since people say that a 3" cuts down on low end torque, and since this is a daily driver, keeping low end torque is the key. So would a 2.5" DP to a 3" cat and 3" cat back be the best thing? Thanks.

i dont think ive heard of anyone complaining about loss of low end torque when going to a 3inch downpipe... id go with the 3inch o2 back, its a world of a difrence in power going from stock to 3inch... its like night and day... you'll thank me later..

3"SS o2 back. High flow magnaflow cat and race muffler. You will not regret it.

I pretty much am looking at this same problem...My only worry I have found in my searches would be the problem of boost creep going 3in. all the way. So I was planning on maybe 2.5" to the cat and 3" from cat back. What's peoples thoughts on the idea of boost creep being a problem?

I have a 3" exhaust and no creep at all on a evo16g, that are suposed to be the most prone to boost creep. My turbo, mani, and o2 are fully ported and this is why I think im ok. Either port everything or go external wastedgate. The 3" is well worth the extra steps to stop boost creep. On the other hand my brother layed 300whp/300lbt at 17psi through a 2.5" exhaust so its not that much of a bottle neck.
