Im not sure if there is a forum with exhaust sound clips in it, but i figured i would try to start one. Im looking to buy a cat-back as i already have a new downpipe with a cat-delete already on my car so i would only need a cat-back to finish it off. But im not sure on which one i would like to get though. Im thinking about either the Greddy Evo2 or the Thermal R&D one. So please if you have pics and sound clips post them here. i would like to get a lot of ideas before i make the decision, also i live in wisconsin so we have strict sound limits on cars so i really cant go with something that would be really really loud.

Dude, Get on You Tube and type in Eclipse Exhaust, DSM exhaust, Talon Exhast, 4G63 Exhaust, etc. That will get you slews of videos of exhausts on our cars.

projectgs, ive been on youtube i just figured itd be nice to have a forum on here of what other people did to their cars and upload pics and sound clips of it so that we have one spot to look for with all our exhaust research. try and be supportive.

I loved the sound of the EVO2 on my old GS-T. Quiet at idle and not too loud or droning at high speed cruise even with a catless Megan DP. But when you floor it... the sound sent shivers up my spine, it was awesome. The main drawback to the Greddy is cost though. I almost pulled it off the car before i sold it so I could adapt it to the Talon. I've heard the Thermal, sounds good too.

The Thermal sounds amazing but is still pretty quiet, sounds like a perfect match for you.

I'm pretty set on buying the Greddy Evo2 Exhaust because I have heard it before on other DSM's and I like the way it looks also.

All of them are pricey. Just stick with ebay. I have one. I love the sound. It's not too ricey, not too quiet, and hasn't ever attracted a single cop.

I've been a greddy guy for years. I tried a knock off ebay on a nt I had and it didn't sound nearly as well as the real thing.

Ebay/Tsudo has a good sound, will drive you nuts on a n/t though, have me headaches inside my car. Def. doesn't sound ricey though, nice and deep. Plus you cant beat a $150 pricetag.

I love the sound of the apexi n1. I had the real apexi n1 on my gst and the ebay on my gsx the real apexi sounds so good! The ebay one sounds good too but nothing like the real n1 but you cant beat the price of the ebay one either.

i ended up getting the Thermal R&D exhaust for my car. love the sound. definitely one of a kind sound. i'll get a video up soon. i love the idle with the exhaust and the HKS 272's i have.
