Exhaust smell

My exhaust at first when i warm it up puts out white smoke but once i take to a spin the smoke stops but a strange smell from the exhaust could smelled.

it smell like a swap or smelly mudWTF

i was wondering could this be a sign of a crack head or gasket to be replaced?

is the oil combining with the anti-freeze?

white smoke is caused by burning engine collant. could be your problem. although im not sure what would cause this to happen only at start up but not after you take it out. could be a minor leak at the moment.

Don't know about the smell, but the white smoke is normal when it is cold outside. Your car is getting rid of condensation and all cars do this. If it is warm out though, that's another story.

could be the cat...sometimes they stink when they get old and are getting plugged..have u ever replaced it?

you might want to check your valve stem seals and temperature sensor. I had the same problem and it doesn't smoke anymore and there's not smell coming out the exhaust after i replaced a faulty sensor. Strange thing is that the sensor problem did not trigger a CEL.

i think it might be just the cat, i had a similar problem but my exhaust smelled like rotten eggs, eeeewwwww.

ill try the simple solution first then...ill put a high flow cat see if that works.
