I'm buying an exhaust hopefully tomorrow- Does anyone know the width of the collector on Pacesetter headers? I am getting that along with a FLowmaster Delta Series muffler; but should I get the 2" inlet or the 2 1/4" inlet??? The whole exhaust is getting torn off and replaced... I wanted to do 2/ 12" pipe, but I don't think that will work with the Pacesetter Header, for some reason I thought they were only 2". I couldn't find any specs on any site for the header.
Any help would be a lot of help,
thanks
Jay

just ordered my header and a flowmaster 40 series with 2 1/2" inlet and 3" dual outlets. Looked around for a few hours for the best prices, got em both for $235. I'll let ya'll know how it works out.

The pipe before the cat on my pacesetter header is 2 inches in diameter. I'm going to humor you all with my header experiance. They didn't bolt up to start, since the two end studs on the 94 heads are larger, so I had to drill out the end holes to make the header fit. They fit up alright after that and I got an OK power gain. The hanger is in the wrong place so you can't use one. There is a bracket that broke down by the oil pan utting a massive hole in the header on the way to work one morning. I welded that back up. I started going through gaskets about twice a month since the flange where it goes from 4 to 2 was so warped. I shaved the flanges down and made them flat, so that worked for a while but they warped again. I got pissed off and welded the flanges together, no more exhaust leak :thumb: . When I did that I notice the shitty flex joint had broken, so I ordered a real braided flex coupling to weld in there. Hopefully get that in this weekend. The headers are absolute junk, but there aren't a whole lot of choices for the NT 4G63. They do give a noticable gain, but they are one hell of a headache. Good luck. :thumbdown

yea i had to fabricate my header a little bit to get it to bolt right up, pacesetter is crap so dont be cheap and just buy a good header and be done with it, thats my $.02

I got a pacesetter and my only problem has been the two things ralli said. It didnt fit at first because the two outside bolts, and the flange sucks ass where it is connected together at the 4-2. It gives a good power gain but if you have the money get something better :thumb:
