I AM LOOKING INTO BUYING AN EXHAUST SYSTEM... ARE THE EXHAUSTS QUIETER ON TURBOS AS OPPOSED TO N/A (CATBACK)...THANKS :dsm:

I wasn't even going to respond because of the caps....but I'm bored at work so here goes:

it's kinda hard to compare a exhaust on a turbo to a NA. But in general it its hard to get a deep sound that is also quiet. You can get a good 3 in exhaust and put in a hi-flow cat and good muffler. That will make it pretty deep sounding, and it won't be that loud, until you get to the higher rpms.

N/A and fwd tutrbo cars share the same cat back structure, as far as stock, a turbo car will flow more exhaust but will be much quieter. Being as though the exhaust feeds through the turbo which acts as a muffler, and then the cat and then the muffler as you may know.
