Hi i think i have a normal exhaust line that plug to headers with a 2 holes end muffler.

Can i empty out my muffler ?
I mean to take away all ristrictions.

Are you saying you have a stock exhaust with two tips on your muffler?

If you want your exhaust to be louder, you can remove the cat and muffler completely and run straight pipes or get a straight though muffler, or install a set of pacesetter headers (assuming you have the 4G63 N/T). Keep in mind if it is too loud you can run into issues with the police and I don't know about the laws in Canada but in the U.S. a catalytic converter is required to pass a state inspection.

you can but it will become loud and just another reason to get pulled over. just by and$20 test pipe and get rid of the cat if your looking to free up horsepower. keeping the stock exhaust keeps the cops from pulling u. Also can get a 3 inch down pipe

I just want a nice sound. Free horsepower too tho.
I would like to get to somewhere around 200 hp without having a turbo.
But first of all would be repare my IDLE SURGE ( idle never at same place)
2000-2500, 1500. Never found the problem !!
