Exhaust Question

I have an Eclipse GST with apexi n1 downpipe and Apexi n1 exhaust do i need 2.25 or 2.5 inch catalytic converter?

why dont you just crawl under and check to be sure?

The downpipe is 2.5 at the o2 housing but expands to 3" after the flex section. It should be a 3" cat

it starts off at 2.3 inch from the downpipe then expands to 2.7 inch.

I have an apexi and a 3" cat. The flange fits a 3" apexi makes an adapter to go from 3" to 2.5" if your going form their down pipe to a stock cat back but if you have the whole turbo back you should use a 3"

i Bought a universal one that you weld on? Its a flowmaster 2.5 inch

your talking about the outer diameter not the inner.

Looks like the GST and GSX versions are not the same , GSX is 80mm GST is 70MM

Test pipe is the only way, no cats needed
