Alright so quick question i purchased a turbo back exhaust for a 97 gsx and theres nothing for the o2 sensor where the cat is. so what can i do. Do i just leave it disconnected or is there something else i can do?

You can leave it out, but it might throw a CEL. Take it to an exhaust shop and weld a bung in. The second o2 is for checking the cat, not for fuel trims.

Oh ok awsome thanks for the replies guys.

So an update.
I installed the exhaust and obviously it poped a code because of the o2.
I noticed it had more power for sure but i also noticed its waisting alot more gas then before. Is this normal? It s a full 3" exhaust. Another thing is when i really step on it it pukes black smoke. Is this because i aint running a cat? Or am i running to rich?
Thanks for any feedback.
