Megan dp's are nice for the price but just be carefull this is what i found when i went with a more custom set up.

The flex section clogged its self on the megan dp. There really isn't a way to check if it does this unless you cut the dp. Talk about a 1" exhuast.

here's how i see things...a downpipe is a downpipe. just pick one up from ebay. you can ###### get a nice downpipe for $50. why pay more just for a name? its just a pipe with a flex section. i run a full 3 in. ebay exhaust on my eclipse, and it sounds good.

@ 92 1g - just because it happened to your megan racing, doesnt mean its a common ocurrance with them. that could happen to any brand of downpipe.

The only potential issue with ebay downpipes is not the quality, it's making sure you get what you intended. When I first received my 3" downpipe off ebay it had a neck-down section to 2.5" at the end when it was listed and pictured as not having that. It was still cheaper to have an exhaust shop fix that then buy a Megan Racing downpipe, but it was just kind of annoying to not get what I paid for. That all being said, the PR downpipe is not much more in price so I would go with that if I could make the decision again. As far as the cat-back goes, there are reputable ebay vendors for that. Look for Tsudo exhausts or any sold by "japanimportshop." I along with many others were very pleased with their product.

Agreed... I'm not bashing. I had their full 3" exhaust for almost 2 years. I'm just not sure how the heck that could of happened...

I probably would of never found the restriction sucking up my performance if i didn't upgrade to v band o2 housing. Thats the only reason i hacked up the megan one.
