Im about to upgrade my exhaust setup. I'm looking at either doing a 3" 02 eliminator downpipe (no cat), or full 3" turboback. As of right now, however, I can only afford to spend about 700. But I need something quick because I have an exhaust leak.

Im really more interested in just doing the 02 elim downpipe (w/ no cat) right now, because I want to go with a thermal catback later down the road, but would my stock catback bolt up to to this size downpipe or will I need to upgrade both at once?

The other catback I was considering was the RSR. Would both the RSR and thermal R&D bolt up to the RNR 3" 02 eliminator downpipe?

Checkout www.kteller.com great prices. 3" 02 elims can make oilchanging tough as often you need to drop the downpipe to remove the filter. Watch out for RNR. Besides slow deliveries, fit isues if I have the right company there. Some recent posts. kteller does a turboback w/omuffler for as little as $515. for a 3", $575. for 3" SS. Mark

K, I'll take a look at that. If I did decide to go with the RSR catback, would there be any problems with it bolting up to the RNR 02 elim dp?

If your short w/ money, i would check out ATRPERFORMANCE.com, i have one and its great. Not too expensive, for a cat-back its $450, and its stainless steel. It actually gives a growling effect exhaust note

Wow, great site, thanks. I really think I'm going to buy the dp from them, but as far as the catback, I guess I'm kinda stuck on going with the rsr. Will the atr dp's bolt up?

I also had experience w/ the thermal exhaust. My buddy in his 92' galant had it on and it wasnt too nice. It was too quiet ( even w/ the cat off ) and someone stole it eventually, by unbolting it. He has the ATR can on it and it just sounds so much better ( personally)

I'm just really not big on any exhausts that are much louder than stock, I guess. I definetly prefer listening to the turbo spool and the blow off over the sound of an exhaust.

I guess i could see where your going, but this is no fart can thats welded onto pipe, its not loud at all and you cant still hear creaks and rattles in the car at WOT, even outside you hear the turbo more ( my friends has the same setup as i do, but he's got a 14b)

No i dont, i would ask around this site, i've read up on a few cars and they have ATR exhaust on, maybe someone will read this and have one

ATR exhausts are loud. If you don't want a loud exhaust, you don't want an ATR.

They do sound good, though.
