Alright, so I'm buying this piece to temporarily replace my broken and ugly 1g manifold.

I was told that it will generate more heat than the stock one and burn out all of my stuffs. What should I do to solve that issue?

I had that exact manifold on my 1g. It came nowhere close to any electrical components. They are prone to cracking (mine never did) and heat wrap will only make it worse. But tubular manifolds will increase overall engine bay temps. The only way to effectively vent that heat is hood vents. However, it's not really necessary at this point.
 
i had an ebay manifold from a seller call best automotive, had it on the car for 4 years and it never cracked it was a good manifold, if you do get worried about heat do what i did and make custom gold shields for the alt and ps pump.

my temps get hot under the bay but not as much as alot of people assume i think it was only about 30 degrees more while not moving and my intake temps dont shoot up either only about 10 but its a really slow climb. most of the time your moving anyway so the flow of cooler air is always helping you out
 
Looks like the manifold I have. It will look awesome for a couple months and then start to look like crap. I'm having mine ceramic coated to cut down on heat and make it look better.

I can't comment on heat killing anything cause I've been fine with mine. Now however, my PS is changed to MR2 stuff and my alternator is relocated.
 
I have a FP manifold on mine, but here's a little something I learned about temps.

With a stockish EVO3 manifold on there, I was fighting engine temps upwards of 220 degrees. Although that is "acceptable" for most people, it never sat well with me.

When the FP manifold came in, I sent it out to SwainTech to have it ceremic coated with their white lightning. Installed it, drove the car around and saw temperature drops of nearly 8 degrees. I then also made a heat shield, which futher dropped the running temperature another degree or two. Now even when I'm beating on the car (i.e. drag racing, the hottest I've seen it get - on the top of the 1/4 mile- was 213 degrees.) I was actually very impressed with the results; the coating REALLY does work.
 
I have had the same eBay manifold for 1.5 years. Mine is wrapped and supporting a bigass hx35 in bep bolt on housing and it hasn't cracked YET. My bay temps are fairly hot but the wrap helped. If I could go back I would probably go with the fp manifold coated. On the plus side with my hx35 I only had to tap the n/t water pipe twice with a hammer for it to clear, so this manifold does position the turbo pretty good.
 
Thanks for all of the replies! Can't wait to get that along with my injector seals so my car starts running right! I'll be back with updates when it gets here.
 
Thats an awesome idea. I had this vague idea of somehow using that DSM hood bump as some kind of venting device with a motorized door.
