Recently have been racing my Gsx on the street with some bad side affects. After one hard run from zero to about 80mph my exhaust manifold glows red almost white hot, i can almost see through it, i am worried about my radiator fans melting as well as the temp throughout the motor. my temp guages read normal. i should also mention that i am not holding boost past 4000rmp (past that i start to bog).

 Please help Thanks

boost leak, you are running either really rich or really lean i forget which it is.
but yeah, you have a boost leak.
Fix it and put your heatshields back on.

It's running very lean. The manifold will glow though. It and the turbo will get pretty hot. Just don't be going full throttle on it all the time.

I actually still have the shields on the manifold, i was just kinda paranoid about all the heat damage to other components. I have read many of the right ups for the BLTs but which works the best? This is my first post, I appreciate the replies. Keep um comin

Thanks
