Exhaust Mani stud stripped on block :(

The threading where the furthest stud on the top right goes is completely jacked up. This is mani to block. I tried to rethread the block, but it didn't do much. Can a machine shop, or local mechanic re-thread it for me, or do something?!

I replaced my exh mani and when I was putting it back on, is when I realized I couldnt screw that last stud in . Took the mani back off and saw that the thread was almost completely stripped, and metal shavings all in there.

Any help would be awesome!

yes its common to retap them.

When I did my first turbo swap I had a similar problem happen with stripping the threads out of the head when removing the manifold, I just took it over to a local garage and for $20 they re threaded it for me.

Helicoil! They are relitvly easy to put in and most street corner parts stores have them.
