Okay I was in the process of putting on my new 2g exhaust manifold on and when I got all the nuts tightened down except one that when I was tightening it the stud was backing out almost like the threads in the head are stripped. So I stopped trying to make it tighter and just tightened down the rest really tight. The one with the stripped stud is fairly tight even with it stripped, I would say it's almost as tight as a spark plug. I also put a brand new 4 layer copper gasket on.

Now my question is will this be okay like this and not leak with the new gasket or will I have to helicoil the head and put a new stud in there?

Install the Heli-coil.

You do not have the proper clamp force on the gasket where the stripped stud is, in time in will burn/blow out.

Hard to say keep a ear out for the leak. If you do end up having a leak you'll need to drill it a size bigger and tap it for new threads. And add a one size bigger stud. Jb weld may work to if your not boosted of boosting high psi. I don't know what the limits would be for that though. I have herd jb weld working one heads before but not exhaust outlets. I say worth a try if it doesn't sorghum tap it for bigger bolt.

Look up blue devil to that may work also.
