disconnect the battery and try to pull them out with pliers.

I tried, and all that happens is it just chips off and doesnt want to come off... Now look at the base of were the fuse goes into the plastic, it is surrounded by another piece of plastic. so i am not sure if there is a special way to remove it?

And you tried disconnecting the battery and pulling with a needle nose? I'm pretty sure that the plastic peice arounf the fuse's them selves is not supposed to be tampered with. But If you be careful enough after you try with needle nose of course..Use a small flatthead screwdriver and get in there and pry it up on both sides..Carefully...And once that is off you should be able to remove broken peices farely easy.

You might also want to check the abs wires, because something caused that 60A fuse to pop. Might be a bunch of corrosion on one of the wires somewhere..andIf you do get the broken fuse out and replace it and that one pops, that was a $6 waste of time..I say $6 because the local mechanic shop charges $6 fora one of those big fuses..I learned that the hard way one day..I had the same problem as you, I kepped popping a fuse and replacing, only to pop it again.. Followed wires and found bunch of corrosion, cleaned it up and never had that problem again..

Oh ok cool, i will have to check that out. Now i still want to remove that broken fuse because i would rather have no fuse at all then a broken haggard looking fuse that isn't doing anything. SO you think something popped the fuse? I got my DSM like 1 week ago so i am starting to find things here and there that needed fixed, and this is one! What could cause a fuse like that to pop other than corrosion?

Corrosion causes ressistance in the wire making that 60 amp circut shoot over it's limit and results in a fuse popping..Kinda funny a fuse you know it's working when it Pops. Ha ha..Possibly moisture too getting in there a shorting out..But then even with a fuse you wouldnt have power when it's shorted anyway. Plus you have a 94 which by today's standards is old. Some of the crappy factory wiring will begin to decay, or break and cause shorts or who knows really..

Disconnect the battery and check to see if there is a screw on the back side going through the fuse. I know on the alternator fuse there is usually one.

Ya the big fuses are screwed in LOL... It should have screws on both sides...
