ECUflash evoscan info b4 purchase

I need some advice on what exactly I need to purchase. so here's whats going to be bought to run evoscan w/ my 99 ecu. What am I missing?

EvoScan 1.3D USB OBDII/MUTIII/SSMII Datalogging Cable I have found on on ebay but the current bid is like 80...

Mitsubishi Reflash Connector I am not sure if i need this or not...

Tactrix Openport 2.0 w/ reflash adapter...

looking for deals, but not cutting corners... I'm running out of flow for this operation, and MUST have a tuning device for this bi***... any feedback is greatly appreciated. I strongly considered the SAFC option, but realized that my ecu is flashable. Lucky me. I'm open to other programs, chip burners, ect... Anything except ECMLINK... Too expensive for me right now.

If you're only going to log, you don't need a fancy 1.3 cable, a VAGCOM 409.1 eBay deal will suit you just fine.
If you're going to tune, you need an Openport 2.0 cable.

Look buddy. I didn't want to steal op's thread, which I did. I didn't receive the info I felt I needed. Please don't do the whole moderator thing. There are mods here for that... Snowboarder, liquid, or someone else is here to handle that. I've been here long enough to know how to get my answer...

- get the OP 2.0 cable for $189
(you can not flash with the 1.3U don't get it we tried and it just doesn't work, this is only for evo8 ecu guys.)

- download ceddymods 1.9 and email him if you want the bigmaps(really worth it).consider making a donation to ceddy

- buy evoscan
