Was looking at my turbo and found it to actually be a evo2 16g turbo.. it needs a new compressor wheel because mine look's like its been chewing on rocks... can I just rebuild it with an evoIII big 16g wheel and rebuild kit??

Take off the compressor over and measure the wheel, but if it's indeed an evo2 turbo it uses the small or big 16g wheel so the e3 won't fit without machining I believe so don't hold my word for it.

Also for all your turbo needs get a hold of Justin on here DSM Forums - View Profile: JusMX141

Your turbo would use a standard "Big 16G" compressor; the Evo III 16G compressor is .010" larger on the inducer.

If you install this wheel into an unmodified Big 16G cover it will be quite close to rubbing. Of course some patience with a little 220 grit wet sandpaper on the wheel radius of the cover will take care of that .010" in short order.
