i tryed to ask this on the evo8 ecu works in 2g post. but it wouldnt let me.i have an evo8 ecu im trying gather everthing to put it in my 95 tsi .but 79 pin on the ecu is the flash port pin but were does the other end go into the obd2 port? or just left open with a plug ? and if it does go into the obd2 port what pin number would it be?

Pin 79 just hangs out where you will be able to access it. When you get your flash cable it will have 2 plugs. One is the obd2 port connection and the other is where the flash pin plugs into.

I just crimped a female terminal on the end of the wire I made come out of pin 79. Then, I put the male end terminal on my cable.
