do you have the injectors, pump, regulator, intercooler, clutch, TUNING to run that turbo??? thats another $3000 or more to run that turbo properly IMO
. For a pump you can use a evo9 fp and they don't require a after market FPR (FUEL PUMP REGULATOR). As for injectors that all depends on what your doing to tune with. A simple safc will only be able to control 660's. If your going with dsmlink you can get 1200 and have them idle and drive like stock. As for a intercooler you can use the stock one for the mean time. If you need a evo fp i might have laying around.Tell that to the numerous PTE customers of mine who cannot get more than 1000-1500 miles out of their PTE turbo before it begins to smoke, gets shaft play for no reason at all (no evidence of oil contamination or lack of oil), or the thrust washer explodes. So you got a good one....I've literally seen Chinese eBay turbos with better reliability than the garbage that PTE puts on the market.Rebuild every year? I swear you smoke crack.
I base my judgements upon facts I've observed with my own eyes, not hearsay.Your opinion, my opinion.
I have never seen a failed one, so I can't say for certain what their weak spot is. My money is on improper maintenance. They may be finicky, but they're not guaranteed to fail.
