evo3 16g elbow

Ok well im getting ready to install my evo3 16g into my 2g with my stock smic and i just realized my install kit does not come with a 90 degree elbow. I was told if i am going to use the stock IC i need the 90 degree pipe, is this true? does anybody know of anybody who sells just this pipe?

your stock j-pipe should just just bolt up
it was like that for my 1g it shouldn't be any different for a 2g

Good to know you know nothing about 2G's.

Yes you need an aftermarket J-pipe or a factory one and to modify the intercooler pipes. I did this to a 97 Talon like forever ago and I think we used a 1G lower intercooler pipe and cut it up a little.

Any 90 degree pipe will work, you can get a mandrel bent one off ebay or get a press bent from an exhaust shop, thats what i did when I was still running my stock intercooler. You'll just have to cut it to fit.

I would recommend a 2" diameter j-pipe at the minimum.

Dejon COP-E, is made for the stock smic.

I had the cop-e for a month or so before i got a set of hard ic piping, it got the job done, but i did have to remove my passenger side fan. Just a heads up if you go that route! O and make sure you get a boost nipple on it, something i failed to do...
