I have a friend that has the stock turbo off his Evo X and I was wondering if it would fit the mani on my 2G?? Would you guys suggest going with an aftermarket mani?

Thanks for the help!:thumb:

Sorry I hadn't seen this as iv not been on lately.

I believe the mani and turbo were quite expensive, but I can get you a price from them if you would like.
All in all with custom oil lines, turbo, mani and o2 housing it cost me £1150 which is a fair wad, however it will be perfect for sprinting as it spools incredibly fast (from what I'm told) and is fairly capible of producing great torque figures. I will have to have a custom j pipe to run over the manifold (like the group a evos) and I may also be using an evo x I/c as it will make the piperuns so much shorter.
Iv not got the engine built yet as work has been quite hectic but I'm hoping the car will be run in and mapped by new years but as you all know a deadline can be difficult to keep up with.

I will get a dyno graph up for all to see and il also get some photos to show you how much space it takes up, but keep in mind you will have more space than I do as the evo engine bay is quite tight, to a point where I'm having to use a golf/rabbit gti ally rad to fit under the slam panel as opposed to behind it.

Cheers for your interest.
