I recently got a galant vr4. My friend has an evo VIII and offered my a stock exhaust/turbo. Can I make it work? Maybe just the turbo? I don't think the exhuast bolts on, but what about the 16g? Would I need to adapt it to my exhaust, or buy a new exhaust to make it work?

Thanks for the help.

You should try searching the forums and then you will find your answer. Will it fit, yes, is it easy to make it work? Maybe, The problem with the evo 8, 9 turbos is that the compressor cover is on the opposite side of our dsms. Much like the engine in an evo. The intake goes out to the drivers side on evos. Our dsm's intake goes out to the passenger side. I have seen people do it before, but what you can pick up a 16g for nowadays its not worth it IMHO. Good luck,

Its a pain in the nads to do, but totally worth it if youre capable enough to make it work. An evo x turbo is a better option as its normal rotation and easily upgradable
