Evo VIII exhaust manifold on 2G

So one of my friends here at work has an 2003 Evo VIII that he's getting a new FP turbo and tubular manifold for, and he's offered his stock turbo and manifold to me for a decent price. Does a stock Evo VIII manifold bolt up to a 7-bolt head, or would it need to be modified? Thanks.

it will bolt up, but that does not mean that the turbo will e situated well in the engine bay. dsm and evo use the same 4g63 exhaust flange design.

I think he meant EVO 8. Model year 2003.

Thatnks for all the comments. May not do it since the turbo is facing the other dirrection, didn't think about that before.

Yes! That's why we swap to evo III turbo.

is the manifold better than oem or evo3 manifold? and why?
i know the evo3 has the same runner diameter as the 2G exhaust manifolds but they have the larger collector that matches the larger inlet to a 16G with a 7cm exhaust housing. but any info on the evo8 mani would be great.
