duh of course.. o if somebody puts things on there car to get laid they're desperate..

honestly.. mine was on the car when i bought it.. along with black motegi ff7s and all i did was take my old hood from my GST and swapped due to some damage..

i like the way it looks

im 22, i dont have a family and go out when i dont have school or work and girls tell me my car looks nice .. now alot of you guys can hate because thats what of course most of you guys do.. its just funny that you "older" dudes cant give somebody props or credit because somebody asked a simple question like "do you think a evo spoiler will fit?" i give props to almost any and every DSMer that loves there car..

I'll say. It's downright pathetic.

Girls tell me my car looks nice 100% stock without an engine in it. These cars are good looking without extra crap added to them. What chicks really like the pull of a turbo and the sound of a recirc.

the car comes with a spoiler and because you change it to a decent one that doesnt make the car look like a crashed fighter jet.. you guys want to jump on some dude..

You need to take it easy. He posted this thread looking for opinions. We gave our opinions. The only one getting butthurt here is you. Seems like the OP doesnt even mind, and it's his idea were discussing here.

Wingless is so beyond ugly.. It just doesnt look right to me. It came with a wing for a reason

Those are only the bottom of the line base model ones, they wish they had a spoiler.

I would think flashy wings and body kits that do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for performance would make us more like the honda crowd...but what do I know.

You're taking things way too personally. The only thing I said to you that could be even remotely taken as offensive, I clearly stated I was just joking with you. I havn't failed, nor do I feel stupid, as most of the people in this thread agree with me, including the OP. One of then is a young kid around my age with just a riced out NT and the other is a girl I went to school with and he parents bought it off of a buy here pay here. Both are bone stock and from the looks of atleast the girls it's a factory paint job. I dont have any hard proof but I've seen enough to lead me to believe some were sold without spoilers.

If i'm wrong someone please correct me. At any rate, I love my wingless look

I believe that one was shaved. I know because it has a sunroof. There was a base model eclipse that did not have a spoiler tho. It also lacks a remote trunk pop next to the drivers seat, and a few other things, I cant remember them all at the moment.

Im pretty sure its shaved 2ga turbo came with spyder spoiler... 2gb turbo came with high rise

also sunroof and interior were parts as options when the cars were order for the first time...

ive seen GSX with no leather and no sun roof.. look in the rare DSM thread.. people have crazy combinations i would have never thought.. but can you imagine someone said i need an AWD with no sunroof and cloth seats

Yeah, there were DSM's without them. My buddy has a Talon base. No door trim, no power, I dont think automatic trannies were available on them, no sunroof option, no rear defrost, no rear wiper, no trunk pop, no ABS, no AC, no spoiler. None of the good stuff.

Different options were added (or left out) for the purpose of affordability. Some penny pinchers don't want to spend extra money for "unnessecary" things.

The cloth wears out and stains easier though. It's all about personal preference. My old Talon had cloth and i had no problem with it. I havent driven the new one to burn my ass on a hot leather seat sitting in the sun on a summer day yet. So I have no complaints about leather yet.

The cloth in my 95 is worn out and looks terrible tho. BTW that one is AWD with cloth, sunroof, and no ABS.
