Can't go wrong with a high rise spoiler. I'm not a fan of the aftermarket one.

Stock high rise spoiler would be better looking.

Go high rise or wingless doesn't look to bad
But it's your car
Do what you want to make it yours

High rise wing or nothing. Wingless looks good and so does the high rise. You car, its all about what you want and your tastes and how you want your car to look.

Well even though, most have mentioned the asthetics of the factory spoiler. The "wing" especially the aftermarket wings have a function in racing. That particular wing if it's functional will not help your car as much since it's front wheel drive. But as said more than once, it's your car and you can do what ever you want to it.

What kind of answer is do what you want its your car? Don't do it, it looks like crap. Just like those mustangs and dodge stratus' i see. Those days are over unless you are exceeding speeds of 170 i wouldn't see it serving any function. So to sum it up, no.

The stock high rise spoiler matches the curves of the car. The high rise spoiler you are looking at is "boxy" and does not match up at all.

Those are my two cents.

Get the aftermarket one if you want to drive a F&F wannabe.
Get the high rise one if you want to drive a shopping cart.
Get the low one if you want to drive a stock looking car.
Get no spoiler if you want to drive a soccer mom's car.

:)

There will always be positive and negative opinions no matter what you choose. That being said, this particular aftermarket wing would fit more box-like cars. With curves of a 2G a curved, stock or otherwise, spoiler would look better. Either way if it bolts to the trunk lid it will be for looks, not considerable down force, like jimsgsx pointed out.
