evo rear seat in a 1g???

hey whats up, i know theres a guy on here that put the evo front seats in his 1g but it didnt look like he had the rear seat in. i was wondering if anyone knows if the rear seat will fit in the 1g or if it can be made to fit?

my friend has a galant vr-4 and he put in the whole evo interior in his car, i hope it can be done on the 1gs also.

After searching the forums the only thing I've come up with was installing the front evo seats into a 1g/2g, so you know what you can do? Go buy the seats, install them and make a tech article about it, there might be more people who want to put in a rear evo seat good luck

Vr4 and dsm interior are different in the rear, anything is possible with money.

No it can not be done because 1g's rear is a lot smaller.

how much smaller we talkin? man i really want that interior since i can find the stock leather interior for the 1g anywhere, and im not sure if the 2g interior would work either.

Well let me put it the easy way without going into dimensions. Evo's and vr4's are considered sport sedans since they are 4 doors which means they can fit up to 5 people. Which means 3 people sitting in the back. Now the back sit of an evo is made for 3 people (no matter how uncomfortable it can be), and the vr4's back sit is made for 3 people, so thats why they fit in each other's interior. I am not saying they are the same but the space is there to play around.

Now your 1g rear sit can Bearly fit two people , unless they are 5'5'' and weigh 150 lbs or less. Not only 1g's, but even 2g's rear sit is small and very uncomfortable, thats why my rear sit is just to carry my books, or other crap that lays around the car. I personally think its imposible, but with money and some triming of your side panels it MAYBE possible.

i didnt even think about that. in that case ima see if my friend will let me barrow the rear evo seat out of his car since hes building the engine right now anyway, and take it up to the custom upholstery shop i know and see if they would be able to make it work without and for how much.

but aside from then, does anyone know if a 2g interior would fit the 1g since i cant find a leather 1g interior???
