2g seat belts in 1G

Hello. I'm looking to replace my 1G automatic seat belts with 2G manual seat belts. This appears to be plug and play per a few write ups. Curious if anyone else has done this, and if anyone can track down the part number for the seat belt anchor (see pic). The other parts are listed in the VFAQ article. Thank you.

So the factory parts catalog doesn’t list those upper anchors as distinct parts, but as an integral part of the whole front belt assembly. I would imagine they are quite similar to any number this era of cars. The harder part to find that is unique to Canada model is the pillar panels that are sculpted with the recess to accommodate those anchors. I didn’t read the VFAQ, but I did convert my car with the full suite of Canada model parts. Let me know if you want some photos for reference.

I happened to notice someone on ebay selling one piece of windshield pillar trim that was for a Canada model 1g. Contacted the seller, and found that he was parting the whole car. He bundled everything together and listed it for me to buy; around $500 if I recall correctly. For the full set there are three trim parts per side, the belt units, the outer floor anchors, and the inner belt receivers. There are also a few specific little covers for bolt heads and such.
Are you trying to just have function 3-point belts, or do you want it to look likea complete Canada model, with trim and all?
I’ll dig out those photos of the parts, and grab a few of everything installed in the next day or so. Not sure I have many leads on parts. Call some junkyards in Canada, would be my suggestion.

Here is all the stuff when it arrived. My memory was a little off, since there are really only two interior panels per side that are specific to the 1g Canada model. I'll send some photos of them installed separately.

Installed in my car. The belt retractors are a bit weak. I think there are companies that referb them, but I've not tried that yet. Seems like I did see someone post a classified add on DSMTuners selling a set of Canada belts not too long ago.
