Evo maf power limit

So Im thinking about swapping from a GM maf to an evo/3g maf for ease of tuning and accurate airflow metering, and Im wondering how much power would over run this maf. I know they read accurately to 66lbs/min, but my turbo is capable of 70-71lbs/min.

And is there any way to program DSMlink to compensate for a non recirc BOV? Im running a tial 50mm, and it cant be recirculated.

How much power to over run it you mean horse power? Do you have link, maybe i dont understand i use link to select maf i knpw nothing about compensating for a non recuric bov. Once that is done i continue with tuning and what not. Have you thought about skipping the evo maf and running speed density? Are you afraid of overrunning the evo maf.

I had the car running on a gm maf last year, switched to SD this year and it will not run to save my life. I have tried anything and everything i can think of or look up. Im just having a really hard time with SD and maf's seem so much easier.

Yea, i have V3 full link. and I know if I go for max power out of this turbo it will over run the maf at 71lbs/min

If you have sd i would continue with it post some problems on the ecmlink forums there is a lots of help there.

Alright, Ill have to do that. Is it pretty easy to get a dsm to idle/cruise on SD? i feel like it would be tough without a maf and SD

You can use your 2g maf for for idle/cruise calibration.
