evo hid ballast and 2g eclipse

hey anyone out there ever try hooking up the evo hid ballast to a 2g eclipse ?
i really want to put hid's on my 2g but all the ones i have found on ebay look like crap and i dont really trust it so i was thinking that maybe the evo ones would work ?

Do you already have projectors?

I dont see why it wouldn't work..... or you could check out the kits on www.HIDplanet.com. You can also do some researching on HIDs there too.....learn a few things to get a better idea of what you wanna do.

You can use the bulbs and ballasts off of any OEM manufacturer. Make sure you also get the projectors themselves as the ones that come in your aftermarket projectors do not have the quality optics of OEM. Trust me, I tried mine for shits and giggles and found the projectors from Audi to display a way cleaner beam pattern without shining in the eyes of oncoming traffic.

You will also find that the bulb sizes of OEM bulbs are D2S and D2R and the projectors are made accordingly, whereas your projectors are made for an h3 filiment bulb.

You can search for the diameter size of the projectors on evo tuners or w/e. My guess is that it would if you'd retrofit it.

Measure it and check, but I would assume so. You might be better off finding a more common set of headlights/projectors on eBay. BMW and Audi seem to be fairly popular and cheap.

TSX projectors are the best on the market right now. However dont get them, if they get too popular I wont be able to afford them!!! .

I was supposed to get the tsx projectors but the dude messed up on the order. He gave me bmw 3 series projectors. I haven't fired them up yet but if they don't please me, I'm sending them back. Here's a site to see what different types of projectors light output looks like:
