Ok so yeah I'm a newb on this site but far from a newb when it comes 2 cars,
So here's my question and yes I've searched for it.
What will it take to drop an evo engine in a 420A eclipse? How much fab work is really needed? I need to built my motor but I'm thiking in the long run the evo swap would yeald better results then a eagle rod and weisco piston set up........and please I don't wanna hear sell it and buy a gst or a gsx....I got the car for next to nothing and the body is supper clean.....id love to buy a gsx but its not in the cards for me fight now
Obviously I will need
Engine and trans
Thinking a stand alone would be the best way
What else?
And most important the fab work.....what will it take?

......she ill never notice an engine swap........no I didn't know the early evos were 4G63.......been searching and searching and all I find is it can't be done its 2 much money......no one has said why its not possible tho......I have access to just about any fab stuff I will need......even as far as a cnc machine.......I'm not trying to spend 10K on the car looking at the newer evo stuff engine and trans are about 3K.......all I have seen are horrer storys about the 420A motor built or not so I'm thinking a proven motor is a better option?
