Stock evo springs are barely and upgrade for out cars:

Simply put..... NO!

Get the BC1100 with Ti retainers at the min, personally I would want a tad bit more spring than this for any 280* cam

BC says the the BC1100 spring will take the 280*, But IMHO It is close to maxing out the spring.

My old set up was a BC280 w/BC1100 (springs only). It made good power to 8K and no valve float (426 awhp corrected on a Mustan Dyno at 29 psi). I'm not saying you will get the same results, but it worked just fine for me.
