Evo 8 Turbo

Im trying to find out the size of a evo 8 turbo is it 16 18 20 ? been doing all kind of searching and will it fit in a 2g?

everything is 180'd in the evo motor bay compared to our engine bay -- unless you relocate your MAS and all the wireing which is a pain then no the evo 8 turbo will not fit in our 2g eclipse

if im not mistaking its a 16g and you might wanna put that turbo on your car cause youd have to change around your turbo setup being that the evo motor is flip flopped. 2g intakes enter from the passenger side and evos enter on the drivers side. so instead of your mas being on the passenger side youd have to move it to the drivers side of the engine bay.

just go find and buy an evo III 16g and have fun with that, i dont even think youd gain anything with the evo 8 over the evo III

I didnt think it would work thought I'd ask I found an evo 8 turbo for like $100 dollars so it was worth asking thanks

From the Evo VIII brochure I picked up way back in '03 or '04, the turbo used was a TD05-HR 16G6 (twin scroll turbo BTW).
