2G/3G/EVO MAF pinout
Pin 1 = +5 Volt Sensor Power (Green/Yellow)
Pin 2 = Barometer (Orange)
Pin 3 = Airflow Hz (Blue/Yellow)
Pin 4 = +12 Volt from MPI (Red)
Pin 5 = Sensor Ground (Black)
Pin 6 = Intake Air Temp (Red/Blue)
Pin 7 = Reset (Red/White)
Pin 8 = Not Connected

So, the correct crossover wiring to our MAF plug is:
3G/EVO Pin 1 to 1G MAF Pin 4
3G/EVO Pin 2 to 1G MAF Pin 7
3G/EVO Pin 3 to 1G MAF Pin 2
3G/EVO Pin 4 to 1G MAF Pin 3
3G/EVO Pin 5 to 1G MAF Pin 6
3G/EVO Pin 6 to 1G MAF Pin 8
3G/EVO Pin 7 to 1G MAF Pin 1

This MAF pinout is the same as a 2G MAF but it's a different connector.

Wire colors included to assist in identifying where pin 1 on each connector is. Your connectors might have different colored wires depending on where they came from. Following the pin to pin connections is what matters.

Glad to see this pinned up here now because I always seem to have to go digging when I build these.
