2G EVO 8 FMIC on 2g

So i have a chance to get an evo 8 fmic.
First is it even worth getting?
Second how hard would it install on a 2g eclipse?

Any links or advice would be of great help.

I helped a buddy of mine with an evo 8 intercooler install. It wasnt fun. Ill tell you that the way the endtanks come out facing the ground makes it fairly hard to mount the piping. It may have just been the intercooler piping he bought but it didnt look good and didnt fit good.

It is all in how you mount it, Dejon is the only company I know that makes a 2g intercooler pipe kit for it and on the intake side I wasn't impressed with the sharp outlet it makes.... If your asking if it is worth it over a SMIC I wouldn't see why not depending on what turbo your running

I plan on getting an Evo 8 FMIC from a friend at work. There are more than a few members on here with an Evo 8 FMIC installed. Search the galleries.

I had one and it was a great fmic for the price. I made my own piping but as other has said dejon makes a piping kit for it. I loved how it fit. That once i found a good deal on a aftermarket evo fmic i kept it going i know have a ams evo fmic

I didn't know of anyone rocking the AMS one on their dsm before.... Anyways if you go the Evo fmic I would get custom intercooler piped made so you can mount it how you want and get around Dejon's sharp angled kit

I don't even see the Dejon kit on their website. Am I missing it?

Maybe they discontinued it... They use to have one for it
