I don't knot what's going on. I installed the turbo yesterday and everything is put on right with no boost leaks. The problem is that I can't boost past 11 psi? I turned up my boost controller( which is hooked up correctly), and nothing past 11. I might get lucky with a surge to about 14 or 15 but just tapers back. It also doesn't seem to be hitting any harder than the t25. When i let off the gas while boosting I get what sounds like a backfire but when not under boost it runs fine. Anyone have any ideas?

You say you have no boost leaks but are you 100% sure? Did you perform a leak test? I would check this and also look at your actuator. Make sure this is hooked up properly. Hope this helps. :thumb:

If you have no boost leak and you have upgraded injectors , try looking at where you have your BOV screw. it its to loose it could be leaking also.

I checked the actuator and it's fine, and for boost leaks... there are none. I should at least be able to hit 15 psi with stock injectors right?

With stock injectors I would turn it down and do not try to run anything past 12 lbs. You will hit fuel cut. Be safe and kind to your engine and turn it down. :thumb:

I thought that it would hit harder than the T25 anyway. Should I hook it back up to the stock solenoid to keep it around 12?

No you don't necessarily need to hook up the stock boost solenoid. Just turn down the boost controller. You do however run the possible risk of boost creep. I would stay out of boosting as much as possible until you have the proper fuel management. At the minimum I would get a fuel pump (190 or 255), if you get the 255, an AFPR, injectors and at the minimum an AFC.

Then I would get at the very least 550's. 650's are going to be the best because you have more room to play and wont be pushing close to pushing the limit of IDC.

I should have gotten them earlier But I kept reading that stock injectors would be O.K. with a 16G. I'll just have to keep the boost down until I can get a set.

wrong.. stock injectors should limit how high you can rev with your 16g before it gets a fuel cut.. the 16g evo big is defenitly capable of pushing 30 psi so most liekley you have a huge boost leak, or maybe your turbo is shot?

I found my problem. It is my MBC. Apparently it can't hold over 15 psi or so. It was leaking. Thanks guys.
